Valle d'Aosta Lard d'Arnad PDO Riserva 6 months follows the same production procedure as the classic version now known all over the world. Its peculiarity, however, is to follow a further seasoning period compared to the 3 months imposed by the Disciplinary.

The Maison has thus decided to create this product which is very fragrant and aromatic, thanks to its maturation of at least 6 months in the famous "doils". Each slice is white when cut, with a possible vein of meat on the surface and a slightly pink heart.

On tasting it melts in the mouth, leaving a pleasantly sweet taste on the palate.

Quantity

Here the lard is left to mature for at least three months. It is during this process that the product becomes concrete, taking on the scent and the much appreciated organoleptic characteristics that distinguish it. Directions for use Store in the refrigerator (between 0 ° and + 6 ° C). For better oxygenation, it is recommended to extract it from the vacuum bag about 15 minutes before consuming it. After opening, wrap in aluminum foil or cling film.

Pairings To enjoy it at its best, it is recommended to combine it with rye bread croutons, softened by a drop of honey.
